Cd covers initial research
Frank Sinatra is an artist of the jazz genre, similar to that of the genre of Michael Buble. We have decided to compare some of the CD cover's between the two artists in order to get ideas for our own digi pack. On the left, there is a CD cover for 'my way best of frank' by Sinatra. Here, we see the style is very simplistic, yet fits typically with the genre being used. We see a close-up view of Sinatra's face being used. This gives the impression that he is focus of attention and a figure of importance in the music. In addition, in terms of font choice and size, we see simply the surname 'Sinatra' displayed in a large, stylistic font, conveying that the name is not only of importance but also that it has become part of a trademark because of the music. In terms of colour, it is black and white which is in a classic style again fitting with the genre.
