Filming - Narrative

Yesterday we filmed the majority of our narrative clips. On Saturday, we found out at short notice that the original actors that we planned to use were not able to make it. Although this was an issue, we felt that we were able to overcome this problem as we had back-up actors planned to film if need be. The two actors that we used were Sarah and her boyfriend Tom.

I felt that they were well focused on the task at hand and as a result, the filming process was quite fluent. We used the shot list that we had planned originally from the storyboard to help us know what clips to film. This was very important as the positioning of the actors was something that was very important in many of the shots. Through planning this, the process became far less awkward than it could have potentially been.

This weather is similar to that of the day we filmed
We also used the multiple locations that we had planned to use. We were able to get lifts from Sarah's house to Tom's house, and so were able to get the majority of our clips. Overall we felt that the filming of the narrative went well and that our planning was effective and key to this.
