Below are CD cover images of various Muse albums. What is interesting is that despite the long time-span between the release date of the albums, the same style is maintained, with similar colours being used throughout all of the designs.






Not only does this show that Muse have tried to keep the same feel and theme to their music that made them popular in the first place. This could be seen as an example of a cultural code as long-term followers of the band may recognize the band by these colours, even if the 'Muse' logo is not visible.




The design used is recognizable to the audience that they are hoping to address.
